Organized by RX Japan, Manufacturing World Nagoya 2023 was successfully held during April 12-14, 2023, at Portmesse Nagoya, Japan. China Fastener Info participated in the exhibition as official media partner (Booth #6-40).

 

 

 

Manufacturing World Nagoya is one of the largest manufacturing trade shows in Central Japan. Digital transformation products and IT solutions, mechanical components and devices, factory facilities and measuring products from all over the world can be found on the show. 

 

 

Manufacturing World Nagoya 2023 consisted of 9 specialised technology shows, namely DMS, M-Tech, FacTex, AeroTech, AM Japan, Alo Tex, Measure Tech, MDX, and ODM.

 

 

 

This edition was arranged in 2 exhibition halls, gathering around 480 exhibitors from Japan, Mainland China, Taiwan Province of China and other countries and regions. Among them, fastener and related exhibitors included Yura Sansho, Utsunomiya Rashi, Sumidabyora, Iwata, Kuto Seiko, A.I.M.Y., Jieng Beeing Enterprise, etc.

China Fastener Directory (CFD), a well-known fastener sourcing magazine for global buyers, was popular among Japanese buyers. According to our onsite statistics, visitors were from the design, development, production engineering, purchasing and information systems sectors, mainly from the Chubu region in Japan.

Inviting Japanese customers to the 22nd Fastener Trade Show Suzhou (Oct. 25-27, 2023)

 

According to the statistics of Japan's Ministry of Finance, Mainland China is the largest import origin and export destination of fasteners for Japan. In 2022, the top five origins of fastener imports for Japan were Mainland China, Taiwan Province of China, South Korea, Vietnam and Thailand, among which Mainland China accounted for 66%. The top five export destinations for Japan fasteners were Mainland China, the United States, Thailand, Indonesia and India, among which Mainland China accounted for 24.5%.

 

 

According to China Customs data, Mainland China exported 147,066 tons of iron or steel fasteners to Japan in 2022, with an export value of $399,604,276. The major fastener exports were: Other screws and bolts with tensile strength less than 800 Mpa; other threaded articles; nuts; other washers; self-tapping screws.

 

 

In terms of imports, Mainland China imported 90,989 tons of iron or steel fasteners from Japan in 2022, with an import value of $806,731,125. The major fastener imports were: Other screws and bolts with tensile strength of 800 Mpa or above; nuts; other screws and bolts, tensile strength less than 800 Mpa; other washers; cotters and cotter pins.
