The top five exporters to the U.S. in July were China Taiwan (up 5.9% month-on-month to $124.47 million); Mainland China (up 10.30% to $94.43 million); Japan (up 8.65% to $59.76 million); Germany (up 7.40% to $24.39 million); and Canada (down 6.24% to $21.02 million).

The top five consumers of U.S. fasteners during the month were Mexico (up 6.07% month-on-month to $93.25 million); Canada (down 7.03% to $84.00 million); UK (down 10.83% to $12.35 million); Mainland China (up 19.40% to $11.63 million); and Brazil, which replaced France as the fifth largest importer of U.S. fasteners at $8.39 million.
