Exhibition Name: Japanese Set off a Rush to Build Plants in China—M-TECH-14th MECHANICAL COMPONENTS EXPO Report (1)
| Exhibition introduction

The M-TECH-14th Mechanical Components Expo kicked off on June 23, 2010 at Tokyo Big Sight.

Japan is one of China’s largest fastener traders. According to the overseas visitor traffic of China Fastener Info, Japan ranked Top 18 among the 180 visitor sources. What’s more, visitors from Japan accounted for a large amount of overseas visitors in the past Fastener Trade Shows organized by China Fastener Info and the number of Japanese visitors was the largest making up 17% of the overseas visitors during the 3rd Hangzhou Fastener Trade Show. Therefore, Japan is an important stop for CFD 2010 Global Tours.

M-TECH is the Japan’s largest mechanical components and materials technology expo focusing on mechanical components, materials, moulds and the related equipment. It has been successfully organized by Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd. for 13 years, with M-Tech Tokyo in June and M-Tech Osaka in October every year. As a supporting medium, China Fastener Info was invited to this show and would continue to cooperate with Reed in M-Tech Osaka in October during which we will talk about expanding our cooperative plan in next year.

It was estimated that there were about 1,000 exhibiting companies. Another two concurrent events were the 21st Design Engineering & Manufacturing Solutions Expo and the 18th 3D& Virtual Reality Expo with 330 exhibiting companies and 100 exhibiting companies respectively. About 120 fastener exhibitors attended this show, mostly from Japan and 10 from China mainland, 3 from Taiwan and 12 from Korea (delegation).

Handing out CFD magazines and introducing 4 Fastener Trade Show to visitors

China Fastener Info as usual was quite busying in distributing China Fastener Directory(CFD)to visitors who came to our booth and invited them to our 4th Guangzhou Fastener Trade Show which will is set for September 8-10 in Guangzhou.

After talking with Japanese companies, we found that many Japanese companies had its own factories and subsidiaries in China. Take Japan NIX for example. It had set a joint venture—Nikko (Zhongshan) Precision Machinery Plant with China Xianyi Precision Machinery (Zhongshan), and is going to build another plant in China in 2012. Some visitors even noted that, “it seems that it is a must for us to build a plant in China.” Thus many Japanese companies are gearing up for Chinese markets.

In addition, a great many Japanese companies showed knee interest in our 4th Fastener Trade Show after our introduction and said they would come to visit if time permits. We also told them China Fastener Info plays an important role in the development of Sino-Japan fasteners and helping them find the most suitable suppliers and promote their images in China are our service principles.
