On 23-25 September, thousands of manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, industrial leaders and buyers came to Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center in Guangzhou China to attend the 2008 Fastener Trade Show, one of the most popular international fastener shows in the world.

Organized by China Fastener Info, 2008 Fastener Trade Show was supported by many nationwide fastener associations, like National Technical Committee 85 on Fasteners Standardization Administration of China, Hong Kong Screw & Fastener Council, Guangdong Province Fastener Association, Haiyan Industrial Fasteners Institute of China, Jiaxing Fasteners Import & Export Manufacturers Association, Shanghai Fasteners and Welding Consumables Research Institute, and Yongnian Fastener Association.

Around 400 exhibitors from all parts of China, including 170 standard booths and 230 standard posters, demonstrated their fasteners and related products under the same hall, which was a great opportunity for buyers worldwide to connect with Chinese fastener suppliers.

Chinese exhibiting companies include: Hifasters Industrial, Jiashan Zhongsheng, Evan Fastening Systems, Shanghai Jin-fu, Chun YU (Dongguan), Infinity Hardware, Dongtai Huawei, Sanhuan Fasteners, Zhejiang New Oriental, 5S Industry, Ningbo Fastener, Shanghai Jingyang, Shanghai Rivet, Wenzhou Oulier, Shanghai Anzi, Wuxi Anshida, Dongguan Kaiyang, Dowson's Fasteners, Zhejiang Kaisheng, Haiyan Pufa, Shanghai Arvid, etc.

Multinational companies such as Arnold Fasteners (Shenyang), Shanghai PennEngineering, NAKASHIMADA, SALA Punzoni, etc. also exhibited in the show.

According to the statistics, the number of visitors exceeded 5000 (including 600 overseas visitors) from about 50 countries and regions, including China mainland, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Italy, Malaysia, Russia, Poland, Singapore, Iran, Spain, USA, Turkey, South Korea, Indonesia, Germany, Netherlands, UAE, UK, Vietnam, etc.

Working with the National Technical Committee 85 on Fasteners Standardization Administration of China, China Fastener Info held two fastener FAQ forums at Exchange Section of exhibiting hall on day 1 and day 2 afternoons. During the forum, 11 industrial experts discussed fastener standards or problems occurred at work with audience and shared their views. Topics included "Standardization of Fastener and Thread" and "Mechanical Properties, Materials and Surface Treatment". Each forum attracted nearly 60 industrial people, including company directors, buyers, technicians, sales reps, etc.

In addition, we invited leaders from various fastener association, exhibitors, VIP members, overseas buyers and experts totaling over 800 people to participate our "Pearl River Meeting, San Ren Xing Meeting--meeting for members and experts" and "China Fastener Info 10th Anniversary Reception" held on day 1 night at Oriental Hall of Baiyun International Convention Center to communicate face-to-face for mutual development. General Manager of China Fastener Info, industrial leaders, global buyers and company representatives delivered messages and sent their best wishes to the Fastener Trade Show and congratulations to the China Fastener Info 10th anniversary. Afterwards, China Fastener Info announced "2008 Top Supplier" award winners.

As the first international fastener show that only accepts fastener and supporting companies in China, Fastener Trade Show is starting to take off from this point.
