U.S. Fastener imports & exports continue to rise in May. Fastener imports of the U.S. grew 3% to $392,958,204 while fastener exports rose 4% to $320,548,134 in May.

The top five exporters to the U.S. in May were China Taiwan (up 6.18% month-on-month to $123.86 million); Mainland China (up 15.43% to $88.25 million); Japan (down 14.10% to $54.72 million); Germany (down 0.54% to $23.77 million); and Canada (up 0.51% to $21.89 million).

The top five consumers of U.S. fasteners during the month were Mexico (up 1.56% month-on-month to $100.77 million); Canada (down 0.36% to $93.66 million); UK (up 4.71% to $14.46 million); Mainland China (down 10.39% to $10.52 million); and Brazil (up 1.74% to 8.79 million).
