China Fastener Directory (CFD) has attended three international exhibitions so far in June—14th Hardware+Tools Middle East, Manufacturing World 2013 Japan, and the recent Automotive Manufacturing Expo 2013, which was held from 20-23 June, 2013, at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.

CFD has been to the Automotive Manufacturing Expo 2013 for three consecutive years as the supporting media. Representatives of China fastener Info (CFI) received many visitors at our booth (5D53 HALL 105).

CFD magazines were quite popular in the show and many visitors were very interested in upcoming Fastener Trade Show 2013—the 10th Fastener Trade Show Guangzhou (July 3-4, 2013, Guangzhou Poly World Trade Expo Center), the 9th Fastener Trade Show Chengdu (July 18-19, 2013, Chengdu Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center), and the 11th Fastener Trade Show Suzhou (October 30-31, Suzhou International Expo Center). We found few remaining CFD magazines on Day 2.

Automotive Manufacturing 2013, Thailand’s only machinery and technology exhibition for the automotive parts manufacturing, is a part of Manufacturing Expo 2013. The concurrent events include InterPlas Thailand 2013, InterMold Thailand 2013 and Assembly Technology 2013.

It’s estimated that Manufacturing Expo 2013 attracted around 900 exhibitors, who were mainly from Southeast Asian countries. The Automotive Manufacturing 2013 drew 350 technology providers from 22 countries, including 5 international pavilions, China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam to serve over 40,000 manufacturers with their competitive products and technologies.

According to KResearch, 2013 will be another promising year for the Thai automobile industry as it is expected that car exports will hit a record high of perhaps 1.23 million to 1.26 million units, up 20-26% year on year. As a result, the overall auto production will reach a new high of 2.5 million to 2.6 million units, thus rising 5-9% year on year.

The projection signals the unceasing growth of Thai automotive industry. The automotive parts manufacturers need to upgrade the production in response to the high demands with high-efficiency machines and technologies.

In addition to the automotive, there are another three major fastener markets in Thailand, which are electronics, infrastructure and airport.

CFD will be largely distributed in following shows in the second half of 2013:
