The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative announced that the Section 301 duty to be imposed on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods, including fasteners, will be 25% instead of 10% announced on July 10.

The tariffs will not go into effect immediately but will undergo a review process till Sept.5.
