The top five imported countries/regions of origin for U.S. fasteners during October were Chinese Taiwan ( down 1.10% month-to-month to $129.16 million); Mainland China (down 1.22% to $102.51 million); Japan (up 15.98% to $55.67 million); Germany (down 6.93% to $32.49 million); and Canada (up 11.75% to $26.53 million).

The top five consumers of U.S. fastener exports in October were Mexico (up 7.92% month-to-month to $119.14 million); Canada (up 4.23% to $97.74 million); UK (up 15.21% to $16.06 million); Mainland China (up 28.32% to $13.64 million) and Germany.
