Taiwanese fastener exports jumped 10.8% USD to 3.12 billion in Jan.-Sept. The annual export is expected to reach NT$ 90 billion, the highest record since 2012.
Taiwanese fastener output amounted to 1.38 million tons in volume and NT$ 95.3 billion in value in 2011. However, the output dropped to NT$ 85.6 billion in 2012, and 8NT$ 85.1 billion in 2013.

The increase of Taiwanese fastener exports this year was contributed by the strong demand from European and American markets for their recovery in construction and manufacturing industries.
The top consumers of Taiwanese fastener exports were USA (taking up around 34.7%), Germany (around 9.6%), the Netherlands (around 5%), Japan (around 5%) and UK (around 5%). Mainland China took up around 3% of Taiwan’s fastener exports, becoming the 7th largest consumer of Taiwan’s fastener exports. Except for the decline of 5.2% in exports to Japan, most of the countries were in double digit growth.
