On April 7-11, China Fastener Directory CFD Europe Special (CFD Europe Special) is begining its trips of two cities—Düsseldorf and Hannover, and debuting in the three exhibitions so as to create more business opportunities for Chinese fastener companies and overseas enterprises.

Wire 2014 organized by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH saw its grand opening on April 7 in Düsseldorf. As the leading trade fair for the wire and cable industry, wire 2014 has attracted 1,334 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions. There were 651 companies from Germany, 474 companies from China, 374 companies from Italy, 127 companies from US, 116 companies from India, 98 companies from Turkey. The rest were from Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Korea, the Netherlands, France, UK, Austria, Belgium, Canada, etc.

Exhibited products mainly include wire manufacturing and finishing machinery, process technology tools, auxiliary process technology materials, special wires and cables, measuring and control technology, testing engineering, etc. The fastener technology is in Hall 15 which gathers around 130 exhibitors of fastener machinery, testing equipment, moulds, etc.

Germany was China’s third largest trade partner of fasteners (calculated in value) in 2013. Fasteners exported from China to Germany totaled 62,800 tons with the value of $132 million in 2013. Meanwhile, China imported around 58,500 tons of fasteners from Germany with the value of $592 million. Germany became China’s second largest exporter of fasteners.
