Exhibition Name: Hardware+Tools Middle East attracts strong interest from Chinese and Indian companies
| Exhibition introduction

Interest in the regional market for hardware and tools for use within construction sites and for other projects continues to grow. This can be attributed to the recent increase in construction projects in the re-gion as well as the large number of infrastructural projects currently underway in the Middle East.

This attention is being reflected in Hardware+Tools Middle East, the region’s dedicated trade fair for these industrial segments. Organisers are indicating growing interest from Asian giants China and India in the upcoming trade fair which will take place in Dubai in June.

The 2013 edition of Hardware+Tools Middle East will not only see a large Chinese Pavilion, but will also for the first time, feature a pavilion from India. This is indicative of recent trends whereby Asian manufacturers and suppliers are increasingly targeting the lucrative markets of the Middle East.

"As the construction industry in the region builds up renewed steam fuelled by the robust economy, the Middle East market for hardware and tools becomes increasingly attractive to manufacturers from around the world,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of organiser, Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “Being the only dedicated trade platform for these industries, Hardware+Tools Middle East is the natural choice for Chi-nese and Indian companies looking to make an impact in the region,” he added.

The Chinese Pavilion will feature 156 exhibitors, with a large number of them specializing in hand and power tools. Chinese power tools and accessories are becoming increasingly popular around the world, given their flexibility in pricing and steadily improving quality standards.

Juanna Feng of the Chinese Pavilion said: “The Middle East is potentially a very significant market for Chinese manufacturers and we hope to generate fresh leads and business opportunities for Chinese companies through participation at Hardware+Tools Middle East. We find Dubai an ideal location for an exhibition such as this as it provides easy access to buyers and visitors from around the region.”

The Indian Pavilion which is making its debut at Hardware+Tools Middle East, indicates the growing interest from the strong Indian tool manufacturing sector. Organised in cooperation with the Ludhiana Hand Tools Association, among whose members are some of India’s largest tool manufacturers, the Indian Pavilion will feature Deeps, Kangaro, Balwindra Tools, Pye Tools, Eastman Impex, Prima and Mansarovar Impex to name a few.

Mr. S. C. Ralhan, President of the Ludhiana Hand Tools Association, organiser of the Indian Pavilion, said: “We are looking forward with great interest to participating in Hardware+Tools Middle East. We hope to make an impact on the regional market with our products which are renowned for their high quality coupled with their price advantages and timely deliveries.”

As the only dedicated trade fair for hardware, tools and accessories in the region, Hardware+Tools Middle East 2013, which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 11th to 13th, has four main focus areas, namely: Tools, Machinery, Materials and Hardware.
