China Fastener Info, as one of the supporting media, attended the show and created the cooperation between Chinese suppliers and Japanese buyers. The CFD magazine drew buyers’ great attention in the exhibition.

It’s estimated that there were around 210 companies exhibiting in the exhibition. Most of them were local companies with some from China Taiwan and Mainland China.

Japan, the largest consumer of automotive parts in the world, demands a great of many fasteners. According to data from Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Japan produced 9.94 million vehicles in 2012, up 18.4%. The country exported 4.80 million vehicles in 2012, up 7.5%.

China Mainland remained one of Japan’s biggest fastener trade partners in 2012. The exports of fasteners from China to Japan totaled 130,465 tons with the value of USD 300,176,353. It was the third largest destination of Chinese fasteners by volume (the second largest destination by value). China imported 81,445 tons of fasteners from Japan in 2012 with the value of USD 974,583,183, the largest consumer of fasteners to Japan.
