2011 National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo/East opened on April 26-27, 2011 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio. China Fastener Info (CFI), the most popular fastener media in China attended the exhibition as a supporting media.

Day 1 is an all-day Conference program includes“Understanding the Bolted Joint”, “Fastener Technology Workshop” , “Current Market Overview: Domestic and Overseas”, and “Women in the Fastener Industry (WIFI)”. The exhibition was officially kicked off on April 27. Most of the exhibitors were?domestic companies and there were three Chinese companies exhibiting in the show.

China Fastener Directory (CFD), published by China Fastener Info, was largely distributed in the exhibition. Since its publication, Over 30,000 copies per issue (12,000 copies are distributed and 18,000 copies are downloaded online) are printed and distributed at more than 12 international exhibition. CFD has earned a high reputation among fastener professionals at home and abroad.

American fastener exports for the first nine months of 2010 were up 27.1 percent and imports up 37.1 percent from 2009. This can be seen as a sign that the fastener industry is well on its way to recovery. China is one of USA’s biggest fastener trade partners. Under this positive economic environment, CFD was quite popular with?visitors and local exhibitors.

Meanwhile, representatives of CFI paid a friendly visit to the exhibitors. Mr. Hlywa, general manager of Cold Heading Company, showed keen interest in China fastener market. Mr. Mutao took a photo with Mr. Hlywa after he gave an introduction about China fastener market to Hlywa.

Mike, editor of American Fastener Journal(AFJ), one of the organizers of the show and a good cooperative partner of CFI, also expressed his appreciation for our presence.

To overseas visitors’ surprise, the 5th Suzhou Fastener Trade Show attracted numerous visitors. What's more, to our delight, many local exhibitors and visitors told us that they will come to visit the 6th Guanghzou Fastener Trade Show scheduled for Nov.11-12, 2011 at Guangzhou Poly World Trade Expo Center.

Though the size of the National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo/East is a little small, and there are only three exhibitors from China, representatives of China Fastener Info spared no effort to distribute a large number of CFDs and introduced Chinese suppliers to purchasers. We successfully played a beautiful melody of East with Chinese red in the backdrop of the deep blue light at the Columbus Conference Hall.

China Fastener Info will continue to attend Fastener Tech 2011 and National Industrial Fastener Show/West so as to help Chinese companies explore American market as Sino-American relation steps into a new era. Besides, CFD 2011 Plus will be published in June and debuted on the M-Tech-15th Mechanical Components Expo to be held on June 22-24, 2011 and the Automotive Manufacturing Thailand scheduled for June 23-26, 2011.
