The biannual held Ferroforma-Bricoforma 2011 opened on March 23 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, Spain. It was estimated there were around 565 exhibiting companies with 54 exhibitors from China mainland and 16 ones from China Taiwan in Hall 3.

The show consists of three halls and products displayed include locks, security equipment & fitting; power tools & woodworking machinery; building hardware & material; industrial supply products; labor insurance products; fasteners; store and storage equipment and fitting; home supplies; decoration hardware; electric products & lighting; home improvement & DIY products; gardening tools & products; industry services.

China Fastener Info (CFI) attended the show as a supporting medium and will report the latest news about the show for you (J50, Hall 3).

Spain is the 6th biggest trading partner of China in EU and China is the biggest trading partner of Spain outside of EU. The two sides’ cooperation is becoming closer in recent years. In addition, Bilbao is a transport hub of the Liberian Peninsula. Visitors from Europe can enjoy a convenient transportation. Furthermore, Spain and Latin America has a long history of trading. China Fastener Info this time surely can help Chinese fastener companies well develop Spanish market and other European and Latin American markets since the show will attract lots of visitors.

Mr. Bernabe Unda, the Basque's Minister for Industry, Innovation, Commerce and Tourism Department, gave opening remarks.

On Day 1, there were not many visitors attending the show. Some local companies told us that it was common that there were few visitors on Day 1, because many visitors will come in the three coming days.

As usual, China Fastener Info (CFI) spared no effort to distributing lots of China Fastener Directory (CFD) to visitors so as to create more opportunities for the cooperation between Chinese companies and other companies. After talks with purchasers, CFI found that many local companies had keen interest in companies of China mainland and expressed their satisfaction with the passed cooperation with them.

It’s worth mentioning that Jose`Juan Ciordia Girl, a purchaser from Bilbao when coming to CFI’s booth and finding that Wuxi Anshida’s advertised on the cover of CFD, excitedly said, “We have cooperated with Anshida before and we know it well. We feel quite satisfied with their products and service. The company is more reliable after finding it is advertised on the cover of CFD, a main and authoritative magazine in China.”
