China Fastener Info is extremely busy in attending overseas shows in 2010. We set foot in Russia in the immediate aftermath of Hardware + Tools Middle East 2010. Although it is the first time for China Fastener Info to visit Russia, our CFDs (China Fastener Directory) had been distributed in many Russian fastener-related shows and attracted much attention from the local purchasers with the help of our partner FATA magazine. The reason China Fastener Info chooses to participate in Russian fastener-related shows as a supporting media this year is to get a deep understanding of Russian fastener market and communicate with local buyers directly.

The Fasttec 2010 set for May 24-27 was opened on May 24 at Crocus Expo Exhibition Center, Moscow, Russia. Although Crocus is a little remote from the center of Moscow, there was a newly-built metro nearby this year which is for the convenience of exhibitors and visitors. It was said that most of the exhibitors and visitors came to this exhibition centre by shuttle buses provided by the organizer last year when the metro hadn’t been built. There were few visitors on Day 1 and most of them are local buyers. In despite of that some exhibitors said they had got quotation and orders on site.

Our booth was quite popular with buyers who came for CFD magazines and its CDs and asked us to recommend some fastener suppliers to them. We warmly received all of them and invited them to our 4th Fastener Trade Show which will be held on September 8-10 in Guangzhou. One purchaser from Würth Group said China Fastener Info was fairly impressed him and he will tell his colleagues about our show and will send someone to attend it in September.

It was reported that there were around 100 exhibiting companies, a?slight decrease from the last year. And the vast majority was from China mainland. Others were from China Taiwan and some were local companies. The rest were from other countries such as German surface treatment Dorken, Italian fastener factory Specialist, and Indian fastener brand Unbrako and so on. It is said that some companies like Boellhoff exhibiting in this show last year is attending the industrial show held concurrently in another large exhibition centre in Moscow.
