On July 5, it was a hot summer day in the beautiful Hangzhou city. Organized by National Technical Committee 85 on Fasteners Standardization Administration of China and undertaken by chinaFastenerinfo.net, the 1st China Fastener Industry Seminar was officially launched. Mr. Zhang Deli, senior expert in chinaFastenerinfo.net's consulting system, is a senior engineer in fastener industry. As a lecturer, he started with lesson one on fastener surface treatment. 36 fastener people attended the training course (our planned number is 32 people). The students were gathering at the chinaFastenerinfo.net's classroom in Hangzhou Branch. The whole class was under the lively and interactive atmosphere.

For the launch of China Fastener Industry Seminar, members of chinaFastenerinfo.net showed strong supports and appreciations and said it was a good opportunity to improve the comprehensive level of China fastener enterprises. Some business leaders from enterprises such as Acument China, Fuzhou Xingchanglong, Shanghai Evan, Zhejiang Aozhan, Wuxi Anshida, etc. attended the training course.

Before the class began, Ms. Chang Sian, Media Supervisor of chinaFastenerinfo.net delivered a splendid speech. She briefly introduced the purpose and style of China Fastener Industry Seminar and recommended Mr. Zhang's experienced background and solid foundation. The speech represented a good beginning for the course.

At 9:00am, Mr. Zhang began the lesson. The 1st training seminar lasted for 2 days, 12 hours in all. The course included features of electrolyzed zinc plating, hot-dip galvanizing, dacromet, passivation of stainless steel, etc.

The class was lively and everyone enthusiastically raised questions. Especially, the class discussed a topic on salt spray test, such as salt spray hours, effects, and problems in experiments. According to his own experience, Mr. Zhang answered the questions one by one.

Students highly appreciated this training seminar. Mr. Wang from Acument China said he learned a lot from this course, "The course is comprehensive and involves many practical problems in production. It is a good opportunity for us to keep learning more. Compared with the traditional training, the course this time is more practical; compared with the training inside enterprise, this course is more comprehensive. Today, many enterprises do not invite technicians to solve the problems until the problems come. In fact, if they get prepared beforehand in terms of knowledge accumulation, many problems can be avoided. It is not a wise idea to make effort at the last moment."

During the break, the students and teachers kept discussing. On the one hand, the friendship was strengthened; on the other hand, it made the students better understand the technical issues.

At 5:00pm, the class for one day was over. Mr. Zhang said, "I am really happy, though very tired. I can see that every student came here with lots of questions. Only if the problems are raised can they be solved. In this way, the classroom is in a lively climate, and the interactive effect is genuinely achieved."
